Spirit of Tasmania Crash into Station pier - delays expected

On Wednesday, Melbourne's wild weather caused the Spirit of Tasmania to break through its moorings and crash into Station Pier in Port Melbourne. While thankfully no-one was injured and there was no damage to any of our vehicles or goods, the ship itself gained significant damage.

This in turn means that there is now only one ferry running to Tasmania or from Tasmania. Inevitably there will be a backlog and delays are now expected for all our vehicles and customers travelling from Melbourne to Devonport (and beyond) or vice versa.
