2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix

The Formula 1 never fails to disappoint, with many events and entertainment happening over the 4 day event both on and off the track. On the track, they will have the Shannons Insurance Historic Demonstration, The Penrite Oils Australian GT, Stunt Shows, Coates Hire V8 Supercar Challenge, Porche Carrera Cup and Air Displays by the RAAF Roulettes.

If you are a die-hard Formula 1 fan or just there to have a day out with the family, there is also off track entertainment.

F1 Fan Zone - This zone gives everyone a chance to have items signed, get up close to the driver’s and their times and of course, get your hands on some merchandise!

Action Zone – This zone will include the Australian FMX Grand Prix, live action stunts and jumps. It’s the perfect zone for food trucks, live music and street art done M-Lane and more!

Kid’s Corner – To celebrate the first year that kids under 14 can get into the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, they have brought in the Kid’s Corner. With a little help from Disney, the kids can expect to see Lightning McQueen, do some Jedi training and participate in the Porche Kid’s Driving school.

Legends Lane – This zone has a large range of live music performances, food and drinks. It also gives people a chance to learn about the history of the F1 sport and have a look at the historic garages.

Coates Hire V8 Village – The perfect place to meet your favourite V8 supercar drivers! You will also walk through the V8 support paddock and more!

F1 Central – If you are after something a little more low key, the head over to F1 Central. They will have a pit stop challenge and plenty of places to relax, such as the beer garden!
