The Mercedes driver, racked up his fourth win of the season which now gives him a 43 point lead in the championship standings. While Mercedes-Benz driver, Lewis Hamilton fought his way back from a starting position of 10th on the grid to finish second place and Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen rounding out the top 3.
Meanwhile, Aussie driver Daniel Ricciardo had a horror start when Chinese driver Daniil Kvyat smashed into Vettel on the first lap at turn 2 which then inturn pushed the Ferrari of Vettel into Ricciardo’s Red Bull.
Overall Ricciardo sits in 4th in the Championship with 36 points only 7 points behind the Ferrari. Rosberg now joins greats Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Alberto Ascari as the only men to ever win 7 consecutive Grand Prix races.
