Q: Can I leave personal items in the vehicle?
A: Most of our larger carriers do not allow any personal possessions inside
the car due to safety and insurance reasons. This includes spare parts,
suitcases and boxes etc but does not include the spare tyre, jack or a
fixed baby seat. Vehicles are always inspected for personal items so it is best
to ensure you have removed all personal items otherwise you are at risk of the
carrier rejecting the vehicle.

Logistics can organise the transport of personal possessions inside
the car using the services of smaller boutique carriers
within some areas of Australia but it is vitally important to mention this at
the time of the quoting or booking process. Any goods travelling with the car
will not be coverered under the insurance policy provided by the carrier - Goods
always travel at own risk.

Logistic's policy is to always quote the best and most
cost effective way to move your car. In some instances, it may be that we
suggest a smaller carrier that will transport the goods inside your car. The
other option we may suggest is to transport the goods separately using the
services of Transurf Consultants whom also

Q: Does my vehicle require fuel?
A: Yes, a quarter of a tank will be
sufficient for driving the vehicle on and off the transporter.
Q: Do you transport non running vehicles?
A: Yes we can so please explain why the car
does not run on the Quote Request form e.g. no engine.
Q: Do you transport damaged vehicles?
A: Yes we can so please explain the vehicle
damage on the Quote Request form e.g. no windscreen.
Q: Do you transport modified vehicles?
A: Yes we can so please explain the
modifications on the Quote Request form e.g. the minimum clearance height is
14cm from the ground to the lowest part of the car. Measurements less than this
will need to be advised on the quote request form.
Q: Do you transport Caravans, Boats, Trailers or
Trucks?
A: Yes we can so please advise us on as many details as you can using the
Quote Request form.

Q: Does the vehicle need to be registered?
A: No, as long as
the vehicle is never driven on an open road. We offer a full door to door
service for all unregistered vehicles.
Q: What payment methods do you except?
A: We accept Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa and
American Express), Direct Deposit and Company Cheques only. Please note that
Amex payments will incur an additional 2% surcharge.

Q: Can I pay COD?
A: No, payment must be made at time of booking.
Q: How is my car
collected and delivered to a door address?
A: Vehicles
are picked up or delivered on a smaller single/dual tilt tray from/to
residential or business addresses which enables better access on suburban
roads. Large car carriers and rail are used between the depots.
Q: How will

Logistics move my vehicle?
A: Our contract carriers use modern car carriers via road and also rail
services. Methods of
car transport
are determined by the individual contracted
carrier. Most carriers use open transporters but fully enclosed transport can be
arranged at an additional cost. This enclosed service is only available to and
from major capital centres.
Q: Who provides the insurance coverage to
transport my car?
A: Most of our contract carriers cover your vehicle with full marine
transit insurance from pick up to delivery up to the value of $60,000.

Logistics is not liable for any loss or damage to motor vehicles
in transit as insurance is provided by the contracted carrier. Should
you require increased insurance cover please contact

Logistics immediately.
Please also note that should your vehicle be travelling with items inside, it
must be acknowledged and approved at time of booking and that insurance policies
do not cover any of these items during transit.

does not guarantee delivery times or promises made by their contracted carrier
companies. Vehicle transit times are provided by the individual contracted
carriers and are estimates only. Transit times may vary due to peak periods,
acts of nature and backlogs etc. Please do not plan holidays, trips and
meetings using estimated transit times.
Q: Do you provide flexible scheduling?
A: We have flexible scheduling to suit the
requirements of our customers, however carriers are not always available
everyday in some areas e.g. regional.
Q: Can my car stay at
the depot a few days if I am not available to collect the car?
A:
Yes, cars are held for a maximum of 3 days. Storage
fees will apply unless prior arrangement has been made with us.
